We’re very pleased to announce that NatureMapr has been successful in attracting critically important funding to bolster our efforts to help Australia’s priority species.
As part of our mission, NatureMapr is investing in the development of important new platform capabilities to ensure information about Australia’s priority species can get to decision-makers.
Funding being delivered by ACT Natural Resource Management, will be used to deliver new national Priority Species and Landholder Hub capabilities within the NatureMapr platform, which is expanding its successful expert verified citizen science model Australia wide.
“This important investment means we can continue to build the tools that are critically important to knowing more about Australia’s priority species.
The NatureMapr platform has been co-developed with government and the community since day one and we continue to take that approach to ensure the needs of decision-makers and our incredible community of citizen scientists are continuously factored into the work we’re doing.
This backing not only provides critical funding to ensure NatureMapr can keep going, but it also provides important validation that the work we’re doing is cutting through and having a positive impact.
We’re proud to partner with ACT NRM and are grateful for their support as well as the broader support of the ACT Government” said Aaron Clausen, NatureMapr Founder and Director.
